Redeeming Our Communities FAQ's

TIER THREE: NATIONAL PROMINENCE

National Prominence: Promote the work of these groups under the umbrella identity of Redeeming Our Communities, and encourage criminal justice agencies to recognise these as vital parts of a national crime and disorder reduction strategy.

Why promote the work of these groups as a Redeeming Our Communities project?

City Links and Redeeming Our Communities seek to introduce people to the fact that combining prayer with action really does change communities and lives. We have seen it work in the birthplace of Redeeming Our Communities (Manchester), and since Redeeming Our Communities was launched nationally, we are hearing stories from all around the UK of community transformation.

More: Read City Changing Prayer  by Frank and Debra Green (about the impact of prayer on Manchester and the North West). Read Redeeming Our Communities: 21st Century Miracles of Social Transformation  by Debra Green (stories of how prayer has changed communities across the UK). Download our Crime Reduction Case Studies, documenting a few of the stories we are hearing about Redeeming Our Communities (i.e. prayer and action) from around the UK.

How do we make sure this is a Redeeming Our Communities initiative?

  • Contact us when you are setting up Redeeming Our Communities initiatives so we can send you current resources and help you begin to organise prayer meetings. We can also link you up with any Redeeming Our Communities Area Co-ordinators or existing Redeeming Our Communities groups near you.
  • If you would like to consider being an Area Co-ordinator please download and complete a form.
  • Keep in touch with us! (info@citylinks.org.uk)
  • Make sure you are signed up to receive our monthly Redeeming Our Communities Prayer Bulletin, to hear about the impact of prayer and action around the UK, (register here)
  • Come to our conferences and events, to hear more about how prayer and action works, and to meet people who are already seeing things change in their communities, (see details).
