Redeeming Our Communities FAQ's

MISCELLANEOUS FAQ's

How do we prevent duplication?

If you let us know when you're starting out with prayer meetings for the police we can do our best to make sure there aren't too many people or groups contacting the same people, and put you in contact with others in your nearby area who have already established some contact.

How is Redeeming Our Communities related to City Links?

Redeeming Our Communities is a City Links initiative. It was born out of years of prayer for crime and the Police by Christians in Manchester, and is under the City Links umbrella. [More info on City Links, click here].

More: You can read about Redeeming Our Communities' Manchester birth in City Changing Prayer, by Frank and Debra Green, and the subsequent national impact in 21st Century Miracles of Social Transformation, by Debra Green.

What should we do after a discouraging first meeting with local Police or Council?

Please let us know if you have had a discouraging meeting, and we can do our best to advise on the individual situation. More generally, don't be put off by a negative first meeting – pray and keep on praying!

How is Redeeming Our Communities working with Hope 08?

We are working in partnership with Hope 08 as much as possible. Our two major evening events this year [see our events page here] are both hosted in partnership with Hope 08. We would very much like to see the Hope Champions coming alongside Redeeming Our Communities this year, so we can continue seeing communities impacted by prayer and action in 2009 and beyond.
