3rd June Prayer Event Feedback:
Thank you to everyone who was able to come on Tuesday 3rd June for our Redeeming Our Communities Prayer Event. We all enjoyed the evening, and really hope it has broken through some of the issues around crime, and enabled our Police to see how much we value and support them.
A DVD of the event will be available soon, register here to receive email updates, or visit our shop to check for new items.
Please leave your comments about the evening below. Thank You.

'Just wanted to say I thought the Redeeming the Communities event went really, really well. I was particularly blessed with Robin Thompson prayed for the Chief Superintendent from Stockport talk about "breaking dividing walls"! Debra, you're a legend, you lead the event with wisdom and sensitivity. The band where great, Carla, what a voice! I was really impressed with Josh Green and his mate too. It was fast paced and there was no opportunity to switch off. Pass my thanks on to everyone it was a honour to be a part of the evening.'

| | | Rebekah (Guest) | 05/06/2008, 11:15 | | I thought it was ace! Especially praying with the police officers. Nice blend of different prayer styles, different communities and churches and musical styles. I have a feeling this event was very significant spiritually. It would be good to see many more similar events in the future. Well done.
| | | Rick (Guest) | 05/06/2008, 11:58 | | It was well good having people from different churches praying for gun crime issues in our city and nation. I thought it was great we had so many young people involved in the event.
| | Jane Fern (Guest) | 05/06/2008, 15:02 | | What a great event. It was really nice to be a part of what God is doing in Manchester and accros our nation. Fantastic hearing the testimonies from so many people and seeing how the communities are working together. You are doing an amazing awesome job for God.
| | | Nigel and Elaine Waterfield | 05/06/2008, 19:12 | | Elaine & Nigel Waterfield ( guest from Leicester) We were both encouraged and greatly blessed by this event especially when Chief Superintendent Neil Wain, Stockport Police and Robin Thompson of Bringing Hope prayed for each other and the very different roles they play in the community we found this very awesome indeed. We were also very blessed when our Leicestershire Chief Constable Matt Baggott prayed for the person who ever they be, who will become the next Chief Constable of Manchester. God has his servants in key roles in stategic positions in this nation for his glory and I don't beleieve we realise this.We were also inspired by Genetik Revolution and the Band with no name,as it shows the great talent around with our young people and most of all that God is working in their lives as these are the next generation of Christians to impact our Nation. We would like to pay tribute to Debra Green for all her hard work and encouragement and also to Ian and Pauline Cole from the World prayer Centre who held the launch of Redeeming our Communities at the NEC in 2006...... The Lord has done so much through this and we give him all the glory and the honour.
| | | Helen (Guest) | 06/06/2008, 11:59 | | Many thanks for an inspiring evening of prayer, worship and information about what GOD is doing in our community and beyond. Fantastic Worship and although I thought there would be more people there, the ones that needed to be there were there. The prayer and response around where I was sat (in the Gods - what better place to be!) was pretty amazing. Many thanks to Debra and all the team. And the worship band......fantastic!
| | | Paul Blakey - Street Angels (Guest) | 06/06/2008, 15:34 | | Well done to Debra and the team for a fantastic and significant evening. The church needs to be at the centre of crime reduction within our communities to prove that the Kingdom of God is a reality that works! To highlight the way the church is working in partnership and putting faith into action is amazing to see and be part of. Tuesday night represented various projects and initiatives that make the leaders of police, councils, regeneration, etc sit up and take notice - not only of what we are doing but also the God who we do it for. Keep on praying and working to demonstrate God's Kingdom as reality - our nation deserves nothing less!
