January 2010 - Redeeming Our Communities News
Are you excited by the work of Redeeming Our Communities? Would you like to be part of a network of people transforming their communities? Could you be a positive role model for Redeeming Our Communities in your street, town, church, workplace or any other sphere of influence?
If the answer is yes then we would love for you to become an ROC Ambassador.
Debra was in London on January 5th for a meeting at New Scotland Yard to discuss plans for the launch of Redeeming Our Communities in London . We'll be keeping you informed of developments in the capital and in other regions as our '10 Cities Strategy' enters its second year.
ROC Conversations launched in Greater Manchester last Autumn and are proving to be a huge success. The Conversations continue this year, with another 9 taking place across Manchester and the first Merseyside Conversation taking place in Maghull on the 10th February. Meetings are also being planned for Birmingham in March.
Don’t forget we launched our new website at the end of last year! If you haven't had chance to take a look yet, visit www.redeemingourcommunities.org.uk.
We were saddened to hear that Nigel Waterfield from Leicester had passed away. Nigel was a great supporter of Redeeming Our Communities and worked tirelessly to make a difference in his community in Dupont Close. Our thoughts are with his wife, Elaine, at this time.
We really value your support and hope that you will continue to stand with us over the coming year as we see more of our communities transformed!
Blessings,
Debra Green and the Redeeming Our Communities Team
