"Being a ROC Ambassador is so exciting because we’re seeing crime reduction, particularly through ROC Cafés. And it's not just police officers getting involved, but local people in different communities.  ROC is committed to young people but also aims to build projects for all ages."

Mark and Wendy have been long term volunteers for ROC since we first started in 2004. They are members of Ivy Manchester Church in Didsbury, parents to three children and grandparents of two.

Mark and Wendy are brilliant volunteers! They are always willing to serve and have been involved in a whole host of activities including: running the exhibition stand, helping at events, organising fundraising projects, stuffing envelopes, catering, phone campaigns and more.

Mark remarked, "I’m a ROC Ambassador because I believe in this charity - that agencies can work better together and ROC has enabled this to happen."

Wendy also wanted to give some advise to those wondering what they can do as Ambassadors: "I would really encourage you to talk to your local PCSOs – we’ve found ours have got on board with the vision of ROC and one is now very involved in setting up a local ROC Café!"

The ROC Team is always looking for others to join the volunteer team. Contact us for more information!
