ROC Conversations Stalybridge, 6 April 2011
On Wednesday April 6th we hosted a ROC Conversations consultation event in Stalybridge. Around 40 people attended including: Inspector Bill Callaghan, Sergeant Gordon Swann, PC Mike Devine, Fire Station Watch manager Kevin Eckersley and members of the fire service, Councillor Clive Patrick, local church leaders, and members of the community.
Our thanks go to those who attended the event and to Andy Chadwick for hosting us. ROC National Director, Debra Green led the evening which included a discussion about the needs of the community and how to work together towards the greater good.
Debra will be meeting with Chief Inspector Stuart Wrudd of Tameside Division later this month to discuss more about how ROC can be established across Tameside.
ROC is a national charity which aims to bring people together for the benefit of the community and one of the projects discussed was the ROC Café. For more information about how you can support our work financially, please follow this link.
Below is a downloadable report with the main topics of discussion and hope you will feed back your thoughts as we endeavour to work towards the goals outlined.
