Feedback - 14 Sept - Redeeming the Arts

What a great time we had!  Thanks to everyone who came to our 4th regional Prayer Celebration.

It was wonderful to meet with Christians from churches all over the NorthWest (and further afield) for worship, inspiration and prayer.  It was so encouraging to hear about the answers to prayer Christian artists in the region have seen since our last gathering in February.

Huge thanks to Lynn Swart and the worship team, drawn from 9 different churches around the North West.  Thanks also to our Showcase performers - we had some great visual art from Hazel Julian and Chaz Newton-Smith, and live music from Daniel Macfarlan, Rachel Jenkinson, Deon Roach (aka DR) and Sarah Green. 

Prophetic word for Christians in the arts   In preparing for this event, Lynn Swart and Debra Green independently had the same word for Christians involved in the arts in the North West.   From Zechariah 3, it speaks of our need to receive God's cleansing in Christ, and his holy robes.               Listen online

Special mention goes to Jo Spurling, who blessed us again with a live painting during the worship time - again, perfectly in tune with what God was saying to us during the worship about his Holy Fire and our need to be dressed in his clean garments (Zechariah 3).

Thanks to all our exhibitors.  It's great to see all that God's doing in the arts around the region.
