Sandy Medway
I'm a ROC Ambassador because I believe it's God's great idea we work together. We want to redeem our communities to make Eastbourne a great place to live and work.

ROC Ambassador Sandy Medway, PA to the Bishop of Lewes, attended the ROC Ambassadors Conference in May of this year, which inspired her to explore bringing ROC to Eastbourne.

"For the last 15 years, since starting a local unemployment charity, I have been endeavouring to encourage churches, community groups and public service organisations to collaborate and find joined up solutions. Then along came ROC showing us how to do it.... so I climbed aboard. After the success of the ROC Eastbourne launch in October, I am looking forward to see how ROC makes a difference in our seaside town. We have several hidden pockets of deprivation with a low wage economy and know of spiritual poverty, isolation and loneliness affecting rich and poor alike. We want to redeem our communities to make Eastbourne a great place to live and work."

Playing a pivital role in the ROC Eastbourne Launch and working group, Sandy is not just hoping for this change to happen, but at the heart of making it happen.
