Act4Africa  '1 Million Lives +' Campaign Goes Live!

Act4Africa has committed to ensuring that over a million young Africans are able to access the charity's AIDS Prevention Education and Behavioural Change Programmes by World AIDS Day (1st December) 2008. If the scourge of this deadly disease is to be stopped, then education is the key, but sadly in Africa, education does not come free. It costs just £1 to enable a person in Africa to access AIDS education, just 72p for them to access AIDS testing and counselling. Not much when you think of the potential life saving consequences. Sadly even this paltry amount is too much for many Africans who survive on less than a $1 a day.
