Prayer Celebration feedback- 08.09.04
WOW !
350 people joined us for a FANTASTIC evening of worship, prayer, showcasing and networking. Thanks to everyone who came & made this such an amazing time.

Worship
Lynn Swart led us in an awesome time of prophetic worship, with our Manchester Worship Band - 13 people from 9 churches across the city. They were joined by Asaph Drummers from Chester and Declaration Drummers from Manchester.

Prayer
We had several times of prayer, focussing on the work of individuals present, and the wider arts community in the North West. Thanks to Arnold Muwonge for encouraging us as we pushed on in intercession.
It was clear to us all that this was not only a great time together, but a significant point in the lives & ministries of many of the people present. We believe some chains have been broken, and many hearts refreshed in readiness for battle. Come on, Lord!

Showcase of talent
It was great to hear from some of Manchester's established and emerging talents. We had performances by:
We heard updates from Andy Hawthorne of The Message and Mark Pennells of Innervation Trust, and joined in praying for their ministries.
A sneak preview was shown of the Redeeming our Communities DVD, which prompted us to pray for the transformation of lives and communities throughout the North West. An offering was taken for this new ministry.
Exhibition of ministries
People from across the region came to display their work and information about their ministries. As usual, they did some good business, and many people made useful contacts.

We hold regular "artists' forums", for anyone involved in the arts in any way. They're an informal opportunity to meet people, share what's happening in our lives & ministries, and pray together. Check the City Links Calendar for the next event. |

The next Prayer Celebration will be in early 2005. Watch this space for more details.
In the meantime, please check the "People pages" for information about how artists around the city are getting on - and uphold them in prayer.
