Projects in Manchester
We have had a great response to the ROC Conversations so far and we are hearing of projects being developed across the city. Examples are ROC Cafes' in Reddish and Leigh in planning stages, football projects in Wythenshawe, Leigh and Bury with Ambassadors in Sport amongst others. If you have a ROC project starting in your area, please let us know!
We are committed to seeing 280 projects developed across the Greater Manchester region over the next few years and this drive is a feature of the Manchester events. We have produced a 'Menu of Ideas' for local projects that can be launched by community partnerships- you can download this here.
Following the ROC Conversation in Stockport, Hayley Wall of Reddish Life Centre has met with Sgt Paul Bray and PC Karla Fox from GMP and plans have been made to launch a ROC Cafe in Reddish in the near future. They tell us about the plans in the video below:
