City Links
City Links was launched as a UK Charity in 2003 following the success of Festival Manchester. As a result of Debra's expertise gained whilst bringing together 500 churches from every denomination and stream for Festival Manchester, other cities began to approach her for advice and consultation.
This consultation work has included speaking at conferences and leaders gatherings in various towns and cities including Chester, Glasgow, Sheffield, Newcastle, Stafford, Carlisle, Thanet, Preston, Southampton, Hereford, South Wales, Hastings, York, Plymouth, Barnstaple, Ramsgate, East Sussex, Aberdeen, Cardiff, Berlin and Belfast.
In the North West City Links developed a Leaders' Forum, a quarterly gathering to enable networking between churches, mission agencies and secular organisations and to encourage and inspire those who lead them. City Links have also organised and hosted events like Game of Life (attended by 4000 people), Carriers of the Fire and Redeeming The Arts.
Debra is available for consultation regarding networking churches and groups together. This work has been the foundation of Redeeming Our Communities, an initiative launched by City Links in 2004. |
