    • Imagine a regular city-wide gathering of Christians united and focused in prayer.
    • Imagine a church that serves local institutions, and asks nothing in return.
    • Imagine the crime rate falling; teenagers praying; people beginning to believe that there’s something in this thing called prayer.

Frank and Debra Green have seen all this and more over the ten years since they started to bring together Christians who occupy different churches but the same city.

Along the way they have learnt gold-dust lessons about how to foster mutual trust and spiritual fruitfulness, overcoming the obstacles both inside and outside the church family.

I recently read Debra and Frank's book City Changing Prayer and for those who havent already purchased a copy i would encourage to do so.
I have learnt not only about the movements that Debra and Frank set up with prayer networking and many other events but also things about my own city that i wasnt aware of before.

Debra and Frank are such an encouragement. They lay down their whole life for the purpose of serving God and its something they should be commended for. How many of us will have a vision to do something for God or hear him tell us to do a specific thing and we dont do anything about it. Debra and Frank didnt do that, they put all their trust in God even at times they didnt know what he was going to call them to do next.

I urge you to get the book and too be enthrawled by Gods power through these two amazing, God loved people.

For those that have read the book, i urge you to write a comment.

I think it is a great book for those who are unaware of the gradual but steady build up that has happened over the years to see a level of unity in prayer and action in the Greater Manchester area. As i have only recently (last 3 years) been a Christian, i have never appreciated the hard work and genuine move of God's Spirit that has enabled for such wonderful co-operation between such diverse churches in the Manchester area. I believe there will be people out there who will be inspired to see the same in their location. I know i would never settle for less in any city i live in.

This book blew me away! I found the honesty, their commitment to their calling and love for God very humbling. Two things specially caught my attention, following the thread of the history of their calling enable me to link with todays City Links and the Christian world of Manchester! Franks writing on the Biblical issue of Interdepenant Repentance helped me immensley. I throughtly enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone, including non-christians. Luv the layout 2.
